Alissa van Zijl studied Human Resource Studies at Tilburg University (2010-2014). After finishing her extended master (cum laude) she studied HR differentiation at the KU Leuven for two years. Since 2017 she is a PhD student at the Erasmus University. Her PhD focusses on the organization and management of neighborhood outreach teams. This project is supervised by Prof. Dr. Bram Steijn, Prof. Dr. Ferry Koster and Dr. Brenda Vermeeren.
