Tim Kind, MSc

Tim Kind (1989) is a PhD student at the Institute of Health Care Policy and Management at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Romke van der Veen and Prof. Dr. Kim Putters, his research focuses on the challenges, dilemmas and strategies of public-professionals and citizens in the day-to-day practices of local welfare policies. Previously, Kind studied Public Administration (MSc) and Sociology (MSc, cum laude) at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. For his theses, he investigated the implementation of a new organizational structure within a large long term care organization in Rotterdam and its effect on managers, professionals and citizens. He also worked as a policy advisor in two large care organizations and is the founder of a project that connects students with isolated elderly.
